Well, it is back this year, but for a very limited time. And it’s spectacular!

Cabernet Sauvignon is the backbone of this wine, providing great structure, body and depth of colour. Merlot provides a silky texture, and Syrah intensifies the rich fruit character. This full-bodied wine has velvety tannins and rich mouthfeel with flavours of red and black berries, cherry, mocha, vanilla, Chai spice, chocolate and oak.

California’s North Coast consists of some of the most well-known and respected wine growing regions including Sonoma, Stags Leap in Napa and Lodi, the source of the grapes for this exceptional wine. The climate is quite variable from valley to valley, but is classified as Mediterranean. The growing vines and grapes benefit from the long growing season, hot days and cool nights, and wet winters creating high quality wines.
This rich red would complement wild game meats, marinated leg of lamb, beef brisket, pepper steaks, bacon wrapped filet mignon, New York steak with blue cheese butter, rich lentil dishes, and hard aged cheeses such as Cheddar and Manchego.
